Rising Toll of Palestinian Martyrs in Israeli Aggression on Gaza Reaches 2808

The media office managed by the Hamas movement in Gaza announced on Monday that the number of Palestinian martyrs has risen to 2808, with over 10,850 others injured during the Israeli aggression on Gaza since the seventh of this month.

Salamat Maarouf, the head of the office, stated in a press conference that 3731 residential buildings, housing 10,500 residential units, were completely destroyed by Israeli attacks.

Maarouf further added that approximately 10,000 residential units suffered partial damage, of which 7100 have become uninhabitable. Additionally, 18 schools were severely damaged, while 150 schools sustained varying degrees of harm.

This grim toll paints a distressing picture of the devastation that has befallen the Gaza Strip. Families have lost their homes, and educational institutions, essential for the region's future, are now struggling to function amidst the ruins. The staggering number of casualties is a stark reminder of the urgent need for a just and lasting solution to the longstanding conflict in the region.

As the international community watches these events unfold, it is imperative that all parties involved work towards a peaceful resolution, one that prioritizes the safety and well-being of all those affected. The suffering of the Palestinian people must not be overlooked, and efforts towards reconstruction and rehabilitation should be swift and resolute.
