Reports have emerged that Alejandro Garnacho prefers a move to Chelsea over Napoli ahead of a potential departure from Manchester United this month. It is said that the Blues are considering an initial offer for the winger after assessing his availability.
United is reportedly willing to listen to offers for Garnacho in the coming weeks, especially since the Red Devils must approve a sale before they can make significant progress in rebuilding the struggling team under manager Ruben Amorim.
The player is one of the most sellable assets at United, and any money earned from the 20-year-old would constitute a net profit, as United signed Garnacho from Atlético Madrid when he was just 16, paying a relatively small fee at the time.
The British newspaper *The Telegraph* has reported that Chelsea is ready to compete with Napoli for Garnacho's signature. However, he could get a chance to join for free if the Italian side convinces Borussia Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi to move.
The paper added that Garnacho would prefer a switch to Stamford Bridge if choosing between Chelsea and Napoli. The Blues' advantage lies in the fact that Garnacho would join his Argentina teammate Enzo Fernández at Chelsea.
