Nottingham Forest Extends Ola Aina’s Contract Until 2028

Nottingham Forest have officially announced the contract extension of Nigerian defender Ola Aina, who will now remain at the club until the summer of 2028.

The 28-year-old full-back expressed his excitement in a statement to the club’s official website: “I’m really happy and can’t wait to continue this journey with the club. It’s always felt like home since I joined. I’m delighted to be here, and now my focus is on preparing well for the new season and getting back to hard work.”

Club owner Evangelos Marinakis praised Aina’s qualities, saying: “Ola brings skill, determination, and strong character. He embodies the culture and hard work we expect from everyone at Forest. He’s had a big impact since his arrival, and we look forward to continuing this journey together to achieve great things.”

Chief Executive Ross Wilson added: “Since joining us, Ola has impressed with both his performances and his personality. He’s someone we all enjoy working with every day. Everyone can see the contribution he makes on the pitch, but we also value what he brings to the group off it. Ola shares our ambition and believes in the club’s direction, and we’re delighted to extend his stay.”
