Zuckerberg discussed Meta's ambitions in artificial intelligence, predicting that this will be the year Meta AI's assistant will reach over a billion people, becoming a leader in this field.
He emphasized that Meta is focusing on developing personal AI that fits each user's interests and culture, rather than a one-size-fits-all model. Additionally, Zuckerberg mentioned that Meta is working this year to develop an engineering AI agent capable of coding and solving problems at an intermediate engineer level, calling it one of the most significant innovations in AI history. He pointed out that some consumer electronic products reach sales of 5-10 million units by their third generation, adding that this year will determine whether AI glasses will move toward hundreds of millions of units sold or need further gradual development.
He added, "It's amazing to see people realizing that these glasses are the perfect form factor for AI, in addition to being stylish and practical glasses."
Zuckerberg also discussed Meta's massive investments in AI infrastructure, revealing that the company plans to invest hundreds of billions of dollars in this area. Meta will add nearly 1 gigawatt of capacity this year, along with building a massive data center, equivalent in size to a large part of Manhattan, reflecting the scale of the company's expansion plans.
