Kyle Walker Flies to Italy to Complete His Move to AC Milan

Kyle Walker, the Manchester City defender, is flying to Milan today, Thursday, to complete his loan move to the Italian club.

According to British newspaper "The Athletic," Kyle Walker will arrive at AC Milan today, with the loan transfer to the Italian side set to last until the end of the current season.

Walker has 18 months remaining on his contract with Manchester City, but City manager Pep Guardiola stated on January 11 that the 34-year-old player had requested permission to leave the club after eight seasons at the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola said after Manchester City's 8-0 FA Cup win over Salford City: "Two days ago, Kyle asked to explore options to play abroad at the end of his career."

The English international has been excluded from Manchester City's squads in all competitions since missing the third-round FA Cup match.

Walker joined Manchester City from Tottenham Hotspur for £50 million in 2017 and has since won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, and a UEFA Champions League title.

Walker has played 15 matches in all competitions this season, 10 of which as captain, but has struggled to find his best form.
