The Hungarian Football Federation commented on Wednesday regarding the controversy surrounding the international transfer certificate of Slovenian player Nejc Gradisar, who recently joined Egypt’s Al Ahly club.
Egyptian club Pyramids FC had sparked debate over Gradisar’s international card, claiming that the player participated without being registered on time. He scored a goal and won a penalty in the 2-2 draw between the two teams.
Gino Cibus, the media spokesperson for the Hungarian Football Federation, told *al qahera news* in an exclusive statement: “The Hungarian Football Federation sent the player's transfer certificate to the Egyptian Football Association for further procedures on January 24, 2025.”
It is worth noting that the Al Ahly vs. Pyramids match in the Egyptian League took place on January 26, confirming the legality of his participation.
