Bayern Munich Signs Tom Bischof, Hoffenheim Talent

Bayern Munich, the leader of the German Bundesliga, announced on Tuesday that it has signed the promising player Tom Bischof from Hoffenheim.

Bischof, 19, who plays as a midfielder, will join Bayern next summer in a free transfer deal, having signed a contract with the Bavarian club until June 2029.

Bischof made his debut with Hoffenheim's first team in March 2022, becoming the youngest player ever to play for the club in the German Bundesliga.

After participating in several matches intermittently with the first team, as well as playing in numerous games with Hoffenheim's reserve team in the German fourth division over the following two seasons, Bischof has finally been able to showcase his talent with Hoffenheim properly this season.

Bayern's sporting director, Christoph Freund, said, "Tom Bischof is one of the greatest German talents, who has also attracted international attention. At just 19 years old, he has already gained a lot of experience in professional football."
