Manchester United Defeats Everton with Two Penalty Kicks

Manchester United quickly regained their balance and secured a victory over visiting Everton 2-0 on Saturday in the twenty-eighth round of the English Premier League football.

Manchester sealed the win in the first half through two penalties scored by Portuguese Bruno Fernandes in the 12th minute and Marcus Rashford in the 36th minute.

Manchester earned their first penalty as a result of a foul by James Tarkowski against Alejandro Garnacho, and then, after 14 minutes, the referee awarded another penalty to the hosts due to a new foul by Garnacho against defender Ben Godfrey.

United had previously lost to their city rivals, City, in the Manchester derby with a score of 1-3 in the previous round.

Manchester United secured their second win in their last four matches and their fifteenth win of the season, with two draws and 11 losses.

Manchester collected three valuable points, raising their tally to 47 points in sixth place, qualifying for the preliminary round of the UEFA Europa League.

Everton's struggles continued as they froze at 25 points in sixteenth place, with six points deducted from their tally due to financial violations, after initially having ten points deducted before their appeal was accepted.
