Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané has revealed the latest developments regarding the renewal of his contract with the club, which is set to expire at the end of the current season.
The German international told Bild on Wednesday that he is not currently interested in listening to offers from clubs seeking to sign him.
He added, "Of course, clubs have already asked me about my position… But for now, everyone knows where I stand on this matter: I won’t concern myself with it at the moment. I’ll focus on Bayern Munich and try to be as successful as possible with the team."
The newspaper reports that Sané is ready to sign a two-year contract and is willing to make concessions regarding his salary, which is currently around €20 million annually.
Extending Sané’s contract would provide Bayern with more flexibility regarding Kingsley Coman, whose contract runs until 2027, and Serge Gnabry, whose deal extends until 2026, with both players being potential candidates for sale.
