Manchester City announced today, Thursday, the signing of Egyptian international Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, on a contract until the summer of 2029, for a period of 4 and a half years.
Omar Marmoush has become the 20th Egyptian player to play in the English Premier League and the most expensive one to date.
Marmoush is expected to play for Manchester City in their upcoming match against Chelsea next Saturday.
The first Egyptian player to feature in the English league was Hussein Hegazi, who played for Fulham in 1911 in the second division.
