Officially... Guardiola renews his contract with Manchester City

On Thursday, Manchester City announced the renewal of Spanish coach Pep Guardiola's contract for two more years.

The Spanish coach has had a successful tenure with City since taking charge, having won 18 titles so far, including six Premier League titles and one UEFA Champions League title.

By winning the Premier League title last season, City became the first men's team in the history of English football to win four consecutive Premier League titles.

Under Guardiola, City has won 353 matches out of 490, giving him a win percentage of 72%, with City scoring 1,200 goals during this period, averaging 2.45 goals per match.

Guardiola stated in an interview with the club's website: "Manchester City means a lot to me. This is my ninth season here; we've experienced many great moments together, and I truly have a special feeling for this club. That's why I am very happy to stay for another two seasons."
