Benzema after Al-Ittihad Jeddah's qualification: "When I say something.. I follow through"


French striker Karim Benzema, Al-Ittihad Jeddah's player, affirmed his desire to continue his journey with his current team, indicating that when he says something, he follows through.



Benzema scored a goal and his Moroccan teammate Abderrazak Hamdallah added a second as Al-Ittihad qualified at the expense of Al-Wahda in the semi-final of the Saudi Super Cup Shield on Monday with a 2-1 victory.


After the match, Benzema said: "I know you want to know what I said before the game, but I want to tell you something, when I say something, I follow through, and what I did was good for me and for the club that I hope to continue my journey with."
