In the presence of Mohamed Salah, Liverpool strikes Sparta Prague with three goals in the first half

Liverpool, the English team with the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah in its ranks, advanced against the Czech host Sparta Prague with a clean three-goal lead during the first half of the match, currently being played at the Eden Arena.

Sparta Prague hosts Liverpool today, Thursday, in the framework of the first leg of the UEFA Europa League round of 16.

Salah was present on Liverpool's substitutes' bench, witnessing his team's superiority over the home side with three unanswered goals.

Mohamed Salah participated in the team's collective training sessions in recent days after recovering from the injury that sidelined him from the matches of the Merseyside Reds.

The Argentine Alexis Mac Allister opened the scoring from a penalty kick in the sixth minute, then Uruguayan Darwín Núñez added the second goal in a splendid manner with a powerful shot that deceived the opponent's goalkeeper to settle into the net in the 25th minute.

Núñez further reinforced Liverpool's control over the opponent with a third goal in the 45+3 minute assisted by Mac Allister.

Liverpool qualified for the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League after finishing at the top of Group F with 12 points.
