Egyptian and French Presidents Emphasize the Need to Ensure Aid Flow to Gaza


In a recent telephone conversation, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron discussed the latest developments in the current military escalation in the Gaza Strip and efforts to contain the situation.



During the call, President Macron praised Egypt's efforts, particularly its leading role in coordinating the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region. This was conveyed in a statement by Ahmed Fahmi, the official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency.


Both presidents emphasized the utmost importance of ensuring the flow of aid to mitigate the deterioration of humanitarian conditions in Gaza. They also concurred on the seriousness of the current situation, especially in light of the unpredictable consequences of expanding the scope of the conflict for regional stability.
